Considering the GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) program?
Do you have a rising 6th grader contemplating GATE, or are you just curious about the program? Join us for a panel of Willow graduates who are current 8th grade GATE students. They will discuss their experience and answer your questions. Current Willow and GATE parent, Elicia Goldenberg, will moderate the event and share her perspective as a GATE parent.

Attention 1st- 3rd graders!
Now that you have rocked the Apex Fun Run, it’s time to join Willow’s exciting Run Club. Get in shape and get ready for The Dole Great Race, Saturday, April 6th, 2019.
Last year, more Wildcats ran in The Dole Great Race Of Agoura, and we want even more this year. So we are offering a running club to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders, during 31-minute Club (2:17- 2:48pm), on the grass play fields. Your child does not need to be enrolled in 31-minute club to run with us.
It’s fun — it’s FREE!!!
Time: Mondays & Fridays, begins February 25th, runs for 6 weeks. Meets immediately after 2:17 dismissal. Your child must be picked up at 2:48 as you normally would. Please note: there will be no practice on Friday, March 8th and Monday March 11th.
We need Parent Volunteers!!! So please sign up here!
The Permission Form/Waiver must be signed before your child may participate. Please turn in signed permission form to your child’s teacher by 2/21.
If you have any questions, please contact Debbie Fontenette, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
**Earn money for Willow – if you register for The Great Race by March 17th, Willow will earn back $5.00 per runner! (with min 50 registered runners) Select Willow when prompted when registering. The Dole Great Race is not affiliated with Willow Elementary. It is a community event, and you must register to participate at greatrace.run.
