The Cat Who Lived with Anne Frank Book Reading – CMATO

Join CMATO for a reading of “The Cat Who Lived with Anne Frank” with authors David Lee Miller and Steven Jay Rubin.

Once in a great while, we celebrate something extraordinary, like the Tony Award winning musical, Matilda. A story about a little girl with astonishing wit and intelligence who gives power to the powerless, help to the helpless, and disaster to those who deserve it. The Malibu Jewish Center & Synagogue is excited to host its community-wide Purim Carnival & Boutique! Their parking lot and Sanctuary are transformed into a fun-filled carnival with rides, games, prizes, pony rides, a puppy petting zoo, face painting, a fabulous boutique, food and much more! Kids (and adults!) are invited to dress in costume to receive free prize tickets. Admission is free, and open to the public.

On March 18, at 6:00 PM, LVUSD will host renowned author, Jessica Lahey, at Calabasas High School’s Performing Arts Education Center, to speak about her book, The Gift of Failure. Jessica is nationally recognized as an expert in the areas of parenting and raising balanced, healthy children. Her message empowers parents to allow their children to struggle, grow from mistakes, and develop self-efficacy.
